POV Ski Jump

I'm SO glad I'm watching and not 'doing' - Why anyone would want to get into ski jumping is beyond any of us here. It is the scariest thing ever, and when it goes wrong it goes wrong really badly.

The film about that park full of giant extinct lizards who run amok and spawn 2 sequels gets this neat little infographic. What we can take away from it is raptors are obviously awesome, but highly dangerous and predatory.

I wouldn't have believed this was an actual thing until i saw it. Guys on mountain bikes riding down a ski slope at speeds of up to 124.9kmh. This dude comes 10th out of 139 racers and this is his unedited cam footage.

I mean, this is a great idea, but it is certainly helped by Steve. Steve looks strangely like he was made to be a ventriloquist’s dummy. Like he’s been waiting for this moment all his life.

Prepare to be confused. CGI techniques have progressed to the point where they are indistinguishable from the real thing. This video plays with that idea and will most likely blow your tiny little mind.

I knew that G.I. Joe were an elite military unit who combat a nefarious group of dangerous criminals known as Cobra - but I didn't know they could skate.

Sometimes it's totally necessary to do something totally unnecessary, like This Week in Unnecessary Censorship, Jimmy Kimmel bleeping out newsreaders & presenters & making them look like they're swearing when they're not.

Airbag pranks are ten-a-penny o the internets, but DAMN are they funny. The most enjoyment I've got out of them has bee from this montage so it comes highly recommended. Some are truly spectacular. Enjoy!

The guys from Improv Everywhere turn a carousel full of little kids into a competitive horse race complete with commentators, a trumpet player and a crowd that just gawp on in a “lol-wut?” kind of way.

The lesson for today is the importance of that final quarter turn in a backflip. I think our hero will remember this one for awhile.
